Birdwatching in Oike Koen (February 15, 2023)

There was a news of Pallas's Leaf Warbler.  However, I wasn't able to see it during my stay in the park.  A local birder saw the warbler on last Saturday, though he saw only once.  A female Ring-necked Duck came back after her absence of 1.5 months.

Birdwatching in Chiba (February 12, 2023)

With my wife's friend's family, we visited Natusume-no-seki and Kawamura Museum.  Among thousands of ducks, there were about 300-400 Baikal Teal, though they were mostly away from the lakeside.  A few hundred Bewick's Swan were still present with a few Tundra Swan.

In Kawamura Museum, we saw several Mandarin Ducks as well as tits and Japanese Pygmy Woodpecker.
